Tracy VanKirk's career in payment systems development spans smartcard, signature capture, security frameworks and mobile applications.
As CTO of iCashCaddy Mobile, Tracy is guiding the platform development efforts and aligning the strategic research focused at the fast-changing mCommerce space. Tracy also leads the development of BevTab™, iCashCaddy's payment, advertising and mobile order entry platform.
His software engineering experience from his time at FirstData lies in the areas of scalable payment architectures for drug and grocery. As Director of Multi-lane Retail Products for Hypercom, Tracy conceptualized and successfully launched Hypercom's ICE multi-lane product offering. He also managed Hypercom's product deployment during the 1996 Atlanta Olympics Visa Cash smartcard pilot.
His ties to terminal manufacturer Ingenico include positions working in field engineering and managing payment systems deployments. Tracy's extensive background in payment terminal technology resulted in successful rollouts for major retail chains including Orchard Supply Hardware, CSK Auto, Home Depot and PetsMart.
Tracy's marketing and business acumen is augmented by his most recent work encompassing boutique hotel management and reservation technology infrastructure development.
Mr. VanKirk holds a degree in computer science and is motivated by his entrepreneurial drive and his passion for exploring new technologies that can be used to promote payment acceptance in emerging markets.
